Men's Retreat / Journey Weekend
Join us this December 2024 with an intimate cohort of eight to twelve friends and brothers — a solid and potent community as we take a pilgrimage into the great unknown together. Make a commitment to discovering your most natural and healthy expression of self in a safe and supportive container with deep-dive journeys, as well as intention and integration calls. Integrating practices from both indigenous wisdom streams as well as modern psychology produces an ever-evolving container that remains dedicated to the moment-by-moment mystery as it unfolds.

Glamping Tents
Available seasonally from April-October. Glamping tents are accessible by foot, along a hilly path, and sit on a tent platform. Be prepared to bring your gear uphill approximately 600 feet to your campsite from the parking lot. Attendees must bring sleeping pads and warm sleeping bags. Camping includes use of indoor spaces and amenities at the Retreat House (when available).
Dome
Our 16 foot Dome sits on a platform and comes furnished with a California King size bed and includes a heater. The dome is located next to the parking lot, and is adjacent to the Fire Ring. Rental of the dome includes use of indoor spaces and amenities at the Retreat House (when available).
Retreat House
Rent the entire Retreat House – complete with 7 person hot tub, soaking tub, wet/dry sauna, kitchenette, 2 toilets and 2 showers – for only $299 per night. Queen size bed available in the upstairs group room. Toiletries and towels provided for ease. Maximum two person occupancy. Rental includes use of Labyrinth, Medicine Wheel and Fire Ring. About Glen
Glen Nielsen, CHP is a certified Hakomi pracitioner and trained in Somatic Experiencing. He is also a trained medicine guide. Glen’s career began in the Electrical Industry in 1979. He has ran several businesses over the last 44 years, the last 16 years specializing in the Solar Industry. During that same time period, his passion for personal growth and healing led him towards training as a practitioner, beginning with Bioenergetics, which led to Reiki, Somatic Experiencing, and Hakomi (Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy). In 2019, Glen completed his training as a medicine guide in the San Francisco/Bay Area. This training’s lineage stems from the Mazatec tradition of the people of Oaxaca, Mexico, originating from a Mazatec curandera, shaman and poet named Maria Sabina. His aim is to assist his work in the therapeutic world helping clients more directly and effectively move through trauma.
About Natalie
Natalie Vartanian, CPCC, PCC, is a certified life coach, workshop facilitator, writer, speaker and tarot reader. She received her Bachelor’s in Business Administration & Communication, from the University of Southern California (USC). Natalie’s education includes coaching training and certification through the Co-Active Coaches Training Institute (CTI), certification through International Coach Federation (ICF), and transformational leadership training through COR Experience. Her 15 years of coaching was spent studying relationships, conflict resolution, and effective communication. Natalie also spent 3 years as the Executive Director for the COR Community Foundation with the mission of making healing and growth work accessible to all people, regardless of age, race or gender. She will be releasing her first book, Taboo to Turn On: A Self-Help Erotica Memoir.
About Glen, Natalie & The Aerie
The Aerie was founded in 1991 by Robert Chinook and Sharon Melnick. In 2021, Glen purchased The Aerie after a 30 year dream of owning a retreat center and providing a space for healing and transformational growth. In 2022, Natalie married Glen and moved to Klamath Falls to run The Aerie as well as join forces to work with couples – to offer a new way of relating and love and intimacy.
