Join Natalie Vartanian and Glen Nielsen for an enlightening, yet practical, journey to rekindle the romance and expand your relational toolkit! Based on their revolutionary Ground Rules for Couples, this program will set your partnership up for ultimate success as each partner learns to be on the same team, let go of the ledger, not take things personally and reinforce a solid, strong, loving foundation for the relationship. Spaces limited to 20 couples per workshop to maintain the intimacy and depth of experience.

Available seasonally from April-October, The Aerie holds several campsites: land that is graded and ready to pitch a tent. Campsites are accessible by foot. Be prepared to bring your gear to your campsite from the parking lot. Campers must bring a freestanding tent, sleeping pad and warm sleeping bag. Camping includes use of indoor spaces and amenities at the Retreat House (when available).
Available seasonally from April-October. Glamping tents are accessible by foot, along a hilly path, and sit on a tent platform. Be prepared to bring your gear uphill approximately 600 feet to your campsite from the parking lot. Campers must bring sleeping pads and warm sleeping bags. Camping includes use of indoor spaces and amenities at the Retreat House (when available).
Our 16 foot Dome sits on a platform and comes furnished with a California King size bed and includes a heater. The dome is located next to the parking lot, and is adjacent to the Fire Ring. Rental of the dome includes use of indoor spaces and amenities at the Retreat House (when available).
Rent the entire Retreat House – complete with 7 person hot tub, soaking tub, wet/dry sauna, kitchenette, 2 toilets and 2 showers – for only $299 per night. Queen size bed available in the upstairs group room. Toiletries and towels provided for ease. Maximum two person occupancy. Rental includes use of Labyrinth, Medicine Wheel and Fire Ring. Glen Nielsen, CHP is a certified Hakomi pracitioner and trained in Somatic Experiencing. He is also a trained medicine guide. Glen’s career began in the Electrical Industry in 1979. He has ran several businesses over the last 44 years, the last 16 years specializing in the Solar Industry. During that same time period, his passion for personal growth and healing led him towards training as a practitioner, beginning with Bioenergetics, which led to Reiki, Somatic Experiencing, and Hakomi (Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy). In 2019, Glen completed his training as a medicine guide in the San Francisco/Bay Area. This training’s lineage stems from the Mazatec tradition of the people of Oaxaca, Mexico, originating from a Mazatec curandera, shaman and poet named Maria Sabina. His aim is to assist his work in the therapeutic world helping clients more directly and effectively move through trauma. In 2021, Glen purchased The Aerie after a 30 year dream of owning a retreat center and providing a space for healing and transformational growth. In 2020, Oregon became the first state to both decriminalize and legalize psilocybin for therapeutic use. Glen completed his certification through Entheogen Institute in Ashland, OR to become licensed for therapeutic psilocybin use, in addition to serving as one of the Faculty Members and Lead Facilitators for Entheogen.
Natalie Vartanian, CPCC, PCC, is a certified life coach, workshop facilitator, writer, speaker and tarot reader. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Communication, from the University of Southern California (USC). Natalie’s education includes coaching training and certification through the Co-Active Coaches Training Institute (CTI), certification through International Coach Federation (ICF), and transformational leadership training through COR Experience. Half of her 14 years of coaching was spent studying relationships, conflict resolution, and effective communication. She created two podcasts and has written several articles for major online publications around the topic of sex, love and relationships. Her work has been featured in elephant journal, Good Men Project, and YouAligned. Natalie also spent 3 years as the Executive Director of a non-profit organization called COR Community Foundation with the mission of making healing and growth work accessible to all people, regardless of age, race or gender. In 2022, Natalie married her person, Glen Nielsen, moved to Klamath Falls to run The Aerie and joined forces with him to work with couples – to offer a new way of relating and love and intimacy. She will be releasing her first book, Taboo to Turn On: A Self-Help Erotica Memoir, late 2024.
